Here’s the new Scrimms Trailer.

“The Scrimms” is the first dramatic series of its kind produced on Facebook®. The live 8-episode thriller uses Facebook social networking features and creative programming for an experience that is part book, part TV show, and part live-theater. The Scrimms premieres on Facebook March 8-15th at 9:00pm EST. The series is intended for “mature audiences” and uses Facebook’s age restriction feature to only allow access to an 18+ audience.

The Scrimms - the original 8-episode Facebook drama

Like The Scrimms on Facebook® to see the original 8-episode drama about a family torn apart by greed, obsession, and loss of privacy – like only Facebook can. The Scrimms Season 1 premieres March 8-15, 2011. Tune into Facebook each night at 9pm.

Each real-time 30-minute episode of The Scrimms uses the unique Facebook experience to redefine drama for the social network generation.

The Scrimms story centers around a business deal under investigation for recklessly exploiting today’s natural resources in order to corner the Rare Earth Metals market. It’s a twisted voyeuristic view of the colorful Scrimm Family and everyone around them, made possible by the task force’s careless abuse of civil rights; and the family’s own dysfunctional sharing on Facebook.
